This Privacy Policy explains how Qaay collects, uses, stores, shares, protects, and retains personal data when you access or use the Platform, including the website, mobile interfaces, account features, wallet, portfolio, market, swap, borrow, lend, earn, support, verification, security, and related services.

Qaay is committed to handling personal data responsibly, transparently, and only for legitimate purposes connected to the operation, security, compliance, and improvement of the Platform.

1. Scope of This Policy

If image-based verification is used, it is used to confirm identity, reduce fraud, and protect the Platform. Qaay does not use identity images for advertising or unrelated profiling.

2.3 Transaction and Platform Activity Data

  1. deposits, withdrawals, swaps, borrow activity, lend activity, earn activity, repayment activity, collateral activity, and transaction history;
  2. wallet addresses, blockchain transaction identifiers, asset types, amounts, timestamps, fees, and transaction status;
  3. account balances, collateral values, credit status, risk indicators, limits, alerts, and product settings;
  4. portfolio activity, market interactions, quote requests, order details, and feature usage;

Qaay does not collect precise GPS location unless it is clearly requested for a specific feature and permitted under applicable law.

  7. repayment or collateral requirements;
  8. suspicious activity signals;
  9. account restrictions or protective actions.

Automated systems are used to keep the Platform secure, consistent, fast, and responsive to market conditions. They may also help prevent fraud, reduce losses, maintain liquidity, and protect users.

Where a system-assisted decision materially affects your access, transactions, collateral, obligations, or account features, you may contact support to request clarification or review, unless the action is required by law, sanctions, urgent security needs, fraud prevention, or immediate risk-control requirements.

Qaay does not use risk scoring for unrelated advertising or for selling user profiles to advertisers.

6. Identity Images and Verification Checks

Where identity images or selfies are required, Qaay uses them for identity verification, fraud prevention, account security, compliance checks, and protection of the Platform.

Qaay does not use identity images for marketing, unrelated profiling, or public display.

Where verification technology involves image comparison or similar checks, Qaay uses such processing only for verification and security purposes and only where permitted by applicable law.

7. When We Share Personal Data

Qaay may share personal data with trusted third parties where necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. These may include:

  3. sanctions, AML/CTF, fraud prevention, and compliance providers;

Some Platform activities may involve the use of blockchain networks. Blockchain transactions may be public, permanent, and outside Qaay's control.

Personal data should not be placed directly on public blockchain networks unless you understand the consequences. Qaay may not be able to delete or modify data recorded on a public blockchain.
